Experience Management – both Public and Private Sector - Mark has worked at senior levels of organisations for over 20 years. He has run strategy, policy and issues management teams in government and some of Australia’s top 50 publicly listed corporations. This has involved managing teams of people across the globe to implement initiatives and manage issues.
Multi-industry - He has direct experience across a broad range of industries including, property, banking, steel and metal products manufacturing, transport, logistics, distribution, minerals, environment, energy, equipment hire, building materials, telecommunications and airlines. He has also been senior counsel to a NSW Premier.
Strategy - Working with strategy throughout his career, he has led the development of company strategic plans, through to green papers and associated legislation formulation, corporate restructuring, organisational repositioning and product development.
Transactions - Has been involved in over $20 billion of transactions including trade sales, mergers, takeovers, as both the principle and the target and equity raisings. Involvement has included being a member of the due diligence team, strategy formulation and shareholder and media interface.
Issues and crisis management - Managed public interface on many issues management and crisis situations including airline incidents, major safety incidents, product boycotts, major corporate operational failures, product recalls industrial explosions and legal proceedings. Also experienced in developing issues management plans to minimise the potential of a crisis taking place.
Stakeholder management - Mark has been the public face for many corporations and associations acting as the spokesperson on major issues and interfacing with key stakeholders on a planned and systematic basis. |
